Teen Challenge Strathclyde

Teen Challenge Strathclyde is a registered charity challenging addiction and offering hope to the vulnerable and socially marginalised. The organisation is based on Christian values and beliefs providing a positive answer to the current addiction problem.

What we do

Outreach work in the form of recovery hubs and cafes which form points of contact for clients to seek support and be sign posted to appropriate organisations.

Mary Lees

Chairperson

Mary Lees chairperson of TC Strathclyde. Mary was a schoolteacher for 20 years after which Mary took over role of manager at The Haven Kilmacolm for 16 years

Stephen Melvin

Stephen Melvin

Stephen Melvin was a sales director for 35 years. After retirement, he became a trustee and Men’s Coordinator for Connect 2: Teen Challenge Forth Valley. Stephen has had 25 years’ experience working in outreach with TC Strathclyde.

Gary Lister is the company secretary to the Board. A former businessman and church leader who is currently the manager of The Haven Kilmacolm

Graham Fotheringham

Graham Fotheringham

Graham Fotheringham is a retired schoolteacher. Graham volunteers at The Haven Kilmacolm and Glasgow City Mission. He is involved in outreach work in Teen Challenge.

David Black

David Black

David Black is the former Chairman of Teen Challenge Strathclyde. David has been involved with The Haven Kilmacolm for thirty years and is Chairman of the Board of The Haven Kilmacolm.

Margo Gault is a retired university programme administrator. Margo is involved in outreach work at her local church and is the Schools Coordinator for Teen Challenge Strathclyde.
